Clothed in a thick blanket of darkness, the ocean meets the sky at a blurry horizon far away. Waves dive in — garlanded in white rolls of bubbly animated enthusiasm —
toward land; splashing, hitting and beating against immobile sea rocks. It knows, it seems, where to quiet or calm down. Dots of yellow
light outline the fringes at the shore denoting life, contrasting the
blackness on the other side… This is how i felt while at Osekan Beach Resort located off the Atta Mills High Street of central Accra. In the darkness of the night, one experiences the might of the ocean; its breeze, sounds and majesty of sprawl… |
